What this agent does

The auditor is an independent verifier. Given an evidence bundle from a completed booking (the mandate + ticket + identity chain), it re-checks every cryptographic assertion: Was the mandate signed by the claimed authority? Is it still valid? Does the ticket match the mandate? Does the seller match the audience? It then returns a signed verdict you can show to anyone as proof the booking was legitimate.

Where to get an evidence bundle

After a booking completes, the buyer's response includes all the pieces you need. Collect three things: (1) the mandate object (from the authority's response), (2) the ticket object (from the seller's response), and (3) the identity_chain listing buyer_ans, seller_ans, and authority_ans. Bundle them into a single JSON object as shown below.

Call audit_transaction

Send the evidence bundle to the auditor's MCP endpoint. The auditor needs no authentication — anyone can request an audit.

Understand the verdict

The response contains: verdict ("valid" or "invalid"), checks (a list of individual assertions — mandate_signature, mandate_expiry, quote_binding, audience_match — each with passed and detail), findings (anything suspicious, empty if clean), auditor_ans (who issued the verdict), and signature (the auditor's Ed25519 signature over the report). A "valid" verdict means every check passed and the booking chain is cryptographically sound.
